The Emerald Archer is Poised For Season 3

What’s going on guys. I am super excited to excited to write this because this is about one of my favorite shows, Arrow. Now I’ll admit when the first season started I had my reserves about it for two reasons. One it was on the CW, and I hold off on all those shows, and two because it wasn’t a continuation of the Green Arrow from “Smallville”. That hurt my heart a little. But with the first season setting the tone and the second season blowing it out the water, what can be next for season 3 you ask? A lot!

When you look back at season 2 and the story and how they turned the comic book level up to eleven, you think where can they go from there? They have defeated Deathstroke, one of the toughest S.O.B’s the Arrow team has faced to date, and stopped Amanda Waller from nuking Starling City as a horde of super soldier inmates destroy the city he’s worked so hard to protect. What can’t they face?  Oh my dear friends there’s a lot more out there.

With the casting announcements alone,this seems to be a bigger and bigger season than the last, and that’s saying something. With Katana and The Atom announced we are sure to see some major super hero action. We all know Oliver was trapped on the island for 5 years, but in the next series of flashbacks that are coming we see him in the hands of Amanda Waller. Looks like we have more to learn about his past and the time he was away from civilization. Also with the destruction of the Arrow Cave underneath the Foundry, where are they to set up shop next? And let’s not get started on Oliver and losing his company how will he get that back?  With all of this don’t think we’re just getting heroes this season, the first big bad gu will be Count Vertigo. They did a Count Vertigo last season, but that one was a little… Let’s just say lack luster, I think this on will stick closer to the comics.

Not is known about the episodes this season yet, but from the pictures Stephen Amell keeps dropping on Facebook its gonna be some great scenes and stories coming. I know it’s too early to call, but I’m thinking we’ll be seeing more powers within the Arrow Universe. It started with Deathstroke and the mirakuru serum and showing how Oliver dealt with someone with powers or at least a superhuman. So with the announcement of Atom and Katana  and the new revamped Vertigo, I think they will show more of a Metahuman side of the DC universe this season like in Flash. I’d love to see them add more elements of the comics to the shows. But they have done such a great job with showing Oliver Queen’s progression as a hero and how he is sticking to protecting his city. They may change some back stories and some characters may not be as expected, but they make it solid and make you respect their character nevertheless.

All ans all this season is taking aim and about to launch off this fall and The CW will have a big contender with all of the hits like Gotham, and the return of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, this will actually be a foundation of the DC universe on TV. Yeah we maybe in the Justice League movie but we will always have the son of Starling City on TV for as long as we can.

OH! almost forgot, Robbie Amell has been announced as Firestorm! like whaaaaaaaaaaat!FIRESTORM, that character takes me back. he was one of my favorite heroes from The SuperFriends. But he will be just like the FireStorm from the comics. They haven’t announced which show he will be on yet Flash or Arrow. I’m betting it’s Flash, but just to think, you would have FireStorm and Felicity Smoke in the same place, HA golden. Oh for those who don’t know Felicity Smoke was the Stepmother of the Ronnie Raymond who is the kid that makes one half of the FireStorm Matrix. If you don’t know much about this character please get to know.it’s gonna be an epic debut and rebirth for one of my favorite characters.
