Oy! What’s going on peoples? It’s your local cat Archie invading your interwebs yet again.
Of course I’m here to rattle off another woman for your eyes to gaze upon, read about, and whatever else you may want to do with this!
So go get your fancy cup of tea, I envision you all nonchalantly sipping your favorite flavor as you read this~
So! The star of this post today shall be…
Ms. Danica McKellar!

(I also retain a personal reason as to why she strikes out to me as well, but we’ll save that for the end.)
Ms. McKellar is a famous actor and book author. Like with a lot of our famous actors, it begins with the learning process as a child. From a young age she was involved in acting classes, it eventually jumped off at the age of 9 when she moved into acting in various commercials on television. Her “big break,” so to speak, kicked off when she landed a role on the show “The Wonder Years” as “Gwendolyne Winnie Cooper,” cut off the first name though and that’s what the majority know her as. She maintained that role for 5 years until the show’s end.
She moved from the acting scene afterwards and started up her college path. Her major? Math, of all things. Not everyone’s strong suit. We won’t delve into what her learning brought forth just yet, but she reverted back to acting before later coming back to get her Ph.D in mathematics.
From where I know her, and where most of us would know her from. She’s been on some of the most awesome animated shows that we know, such as “Static Shock,” where she voiced a part in the old “Justice League” show, and is even Miss Martian from “Young Justice.” Now on my preferred video game scene, she’s been Jubilee on “X-Men Legends,” and Invisible Woman on the Marvel’s “Ultimate Alliance” games. I believe she’s been on “Young Justice: Legacy” although my knowledge of that does not extend out too far, but if you’re interested you could check it out, task received, but yeah. She belongs to our side guys!
Now here’s my obviously awesome reason for my personal like of her:
Remember when I said she majored in math? That Ph.D in math? Primarily to me she’s an odd one out who combines the smart and beauty side of a woman together, instead of having to be at that breaking point of which one to live out. She has best seller books like “Girls Get Curves: Geometry Takes Shape” for example, that teaches all forms of mathematics, tips and tricks to surviving the subject period, and basically things along that line. My thinking (not to say guys couldn’t get a little something from her, but she’s versed towards the female crowd, go away males!)
Anyways yeah my thinking. Books that teach on the subject and the survival skills of it (treating mathematics like it’s a survival horror, yep). Girls/Women that will eventually read the books that are into the subject. They wouldn’t flock to it unless they were interested in some aspect of it. What is something mathematics is used in making? Video Games. Let a female be in the direction of programming, crossed with picking any one of her books, McKellar is pushing young females more into having confidence, and the know how behind a thing such as programming, and into doing it period. Later down the road when the ladies build up into their profession, BAM! They end up being in the next greatest Marvel/DC game, or just have a major hand to play in any amazing game that is to come in the future. Someone recognize her? BAM! We have another woman who has potentially combined beauty and smarts for me to blog about.
Raise your army of female smarties, Ms. McKellar! Keep doing what you do, my approval level of you is so high right now~
I did tell the males to get out somewhere up there didn’t I? Time to clean your tea glass, Archie Out!
