Yeah yeah, I know that was cheesy but it kinda fits this Doctor. This highlight is about Tom Baker the fourth person to suit up and become The Doctor. This Doctor was a stand out on another level. Where do we start really?  Is it his height, or his obvious fashion sense, or lets get to his personality…

Let’s start with that Tom Baker was one of the longest running Doctors, with episodes and movies that span from 1974-1981, heck he still does audio-dramas as The Doctor now. You have to give it to the man, his Doctor is iconic for that one thing about him, his whimsical charm. He made The Doctor someone you could laugh with, but don’t be mistaken that he was not a serious defender of the Earth. His portrayal gave us a man that you could see will not back down from any threat.

I know I know, you’ve been waiting for me to mention it, yes he also stands out because of the classic and the one staple in his wardrobe. The Scarf, you know I heard that he was not originally  suppose to have that scarf, but it fits so well. Everyone who grew up on Doctor Who in his era knows that when you see that scarf flying in the wind, two things. The Doctor is on another adventure, and two… We really need to be running right now.

But Tom’s Doctor will like the others go down in the halls of Sci-Fi history as being a pivotal part of shaping the landscape of what we see today. The fourth Doctor will always be with us just get your jelly babies in hand and lets keep the Who week rolling.
