Wow, this indeed has touched me. The .gif that you are witnessing was created by Steven Bryne. He has been the creator of many of amazing animated adventures we know and love, but today he is giving us a sneak peek into his world of The Animated Adventures of Firefly, and boy does it tug at your heartstrings
This animated scene is between Zoe and her late husband Wash. It was only 2 1/2 seconds, but for those who know the show, it spoke volumes. Steven takes you through the arduous process of making this tiny sliver of animation. The details and layers that go into this is just stunning if you are fimiliar with the process, but if you are not, this shows you what it takes to make such a quality animated show, and just think, this is only 2 1/2 seconds… What if this was an entire episode. So if you can sit through the feels, you will be rewarded.
