So this week Marvel and Rolling Stone revealed some new variant covers for Deadpool #25 and Howard The Duck #2 coming in April. And you might be asking what’s so interesting about that? I tell you these are on point. They pay homage to the rising rap duo Killer Mike and El-P better known as Run The Jewels.
They are amazingly sick, and the artist, who are also avid comic book fans, love it. If you have not been noticing this phenomenon around the world #TagTheJewels has been exploding with artist doing renditions of the cover art everywhere, from shirts to graffiti to all sorts of art works.
The boys at Marvel are running full steam ahead with this and I for one cannot wait to get my hands on these Variant covers.
