You guys know we love new music here on The Block. It’s been a minute since we went scouring for new artist to bring to your ears, but today we have one. Queen Jo is a Femcee (Female Emcee) from Philly. She has a House style that rocks the house like none other. This is her newest release and the 2nd in the 2015 series, “Can I Meet Ya Mama?”
This was a 5 track album that was short, sweet and to the point. From the beginning you are hit with the smooth house beats of “To Know You” and doesn’t stop from there. Here’s the Track list Below

My all time favorite has got to be Queen of Shade. That track is reminiscent of a lot of chicks in my life. But her flow is like none other. It’s not gritty but it hits hard, it’s smooth, but will still spit fire. And her voice is overall hypnotizing. The album itself has a great flow and rythm to it.
