If you have not been reading the break out series The Wicked + The Divine, you have truly been sleeping on one of the better series of 2015.
It started out last year, but the story has really been picking up steam in the last few issues. They released the first Volume of the series that focused on issues #1-5. Now they are ready to give you the next volume, Fandemonium. It will focus on issues #6-11. They released a trailer for it.
The story follows 12 Gods that put their souls into the bodies of youth and for two years they go around as gods on earth, basically Pop stars. They are loved and they do whatever their hearts desired. But this time one of the Gods is murdered, and it may be one of them that did the deed. I highly recommend giving this series a read, I loved it and Image has been doing some great work. It shows great dynamics in writing and storytelling. The art is in another league of it’s own. So go pick up Vol. 2 when it hits shelves tomorrow July 1st!
