Casual Cosplay: Date Night

Hey ladies and gentlemen,

Time for you’re weekly dose of fashion in casual cosplay.  Since we’re getting back into the swing of things with outfits for both women and men why not show one of my favorite Marvel couples.

They did part ways but they did look pretty good together.  Who else could I be talking about besides T’challa and Ororo Munore otherwise known as Black Panther and Storm. Separately they were strong players and together they were dynamic. (In my opinion anyway) Oh wait you haven’t heard of them or their union? Check for here Black Panther and here for Storm.

I’d figure since we have a couple (or ex-couple) let’s go for a date night feel. Just what would  Black Panther wear on a date to try to woo back Storm? Let’s find out!

I’ll let you in a secret guys. Storm is my favorite character of all time. When it came to picking her date night outfit I couldn’t chose just one. She’s so unpredictable which is why I love her. So she has two outfits to chose from. I really love the gold detail on the second one. It really mimics the trim on her iconic black and gold suit to me. On the other hand that sheer sleeve number with the deep slit I’m sure would have T’challa racking his brain on how he allowed her to slip through his fingers in the first place.  The topping layer of course is her lightening bolt earrings.

As for our men. T’challa in my mind has just gotten off of work. many forget he is a business man so I automatically imagine a suit.  Let’s remove his jacket but leave the vest and tie. Of course he wears signature all black  and  a golden tie.  Now for us fans I lucked upon some black panther cuff-links. He obviously wouldn’t wear those himself. Instead when he goes to pick up Ororo let’s have him remove those cuff-links and show off his gold watch instead by rolling his sleeves up to his elbow. Enjoy how I gave them a whole back story?

Here’s to keeping our fingers crossed that romance will be rekindled for the two. However don’t forget to create some romance yourself. I hope this set has inspired you to create some date night Casual Cosplay concepts of your own.
